Just as a physical gym caters to all shapes, sizes, ages, and levels of physical health—united by the desire to get and stay healthier, The Mental Health Gym is designed for people who are committed to improving and maintaining a level of emotional functioning that permits personal growth, achievement, happiness, and the effective management of stress and challenges.

When you go to a gym, you may be presented with an exercise card to help you track progress as you lift more weight, master more equipment, and increase your mileage on the treadmill, elliptical machine, or bike. Use The Mental Health Gym Exercise Card to chart your progress and make meaningful changes in your life. Download a separate exercise card for each activity every week.

The Mental Health Gym philosophy reflects the fact that basic personality can be changed at any age if a person is motivated to change. Our belief is that the healthiest personality evolves as a result of continuing growth and change in 7 areas that start with the letter P. Commit yourself to growing and changing in these areas, and as you do so you will experience a 8th P: PRIDE.
