His positive goal-oriented approach has influenced thousands of individuals over the years to overcome medical, psychological, and self- imposed limitations, and become better versions of themselves by following The Mental Health Gym’s philosophy and practices.

Dr. Ron’s ideas and approaches have been described in his books, WHAT CAN GO RIGHT? The Thinking Person’s Guide to Making Good Things Happen, THE MENTAL HEALTH GYM PLAYBOOK,  and most recently, REJUVENAGING®: The Art and Science of Growing Older with Enthusiasm.

In recent years, a particular focus of Dr. Ron’s work has been on REJUVENAGING® to enable those in life’s 2nd half-century to lead lifestyles in ways that are balanced, engaged, and physically and mentally healthy.  He is passionate about promoting older adulthood as an age of growth and not decline.  He is known nationally and internationally for his webinars, courses, and presentations.

Dr. Ron lives in Philadelphia, and his proudest accomplishments are the relationships that he enjoys with Libby, his wife of 50+ years, and their children and grandchildren.
